Zofia Anna Olesik

Polish violinist, born in 2005. Student of the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, Poland in the class of Prof. Marcin Baranowski.
She has been the recipient of many prestigious scholarship programs, including the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage „Young Poland” and full scholarships to attend the Morningside Music Bridge program in Boston.
Zofia's musical brilliance illuminated the global stage with victories at many national and international violin competitions, such as the Aram Kchachaturian International Violin Competition in Yerevan, Armenia, the Karol Lipiński and Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Lublin, Poland, the International Arthur Grumiaux Competition for Young Violinists, Brussels, Belgium.
She collaborates with the Krzysztof Penderecki European Center for Music, where she has performed many times, taking part, among others, in the Penderecki Project with the participation of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and performed a solo recital as part of the Presentations series dedicated to the most talented young musicians. She was also a member of the prestigious European Union Youth Orchestra.
She also maintains a permanent cooperation with the Zabrze Philharmonic, with which she has performed many concerts, such as the world premiere of Paweł Pudło's violin concerto - Gears of Time.
She has appeared as a soloist with several major symphony orchestras, such as Sinfonia Iuventus, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, the Eastgate Youth Orchestra and the Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra.
