Maimie De Silva

Program Manager

Maimie De Silva has over 35 years of program and event management experience with an international focus. Maimie began working for the acclaimed international summer music program, Morningside Music Bridge in 2001 as the Program Administrator. Now the Program Manager, she is pleased to be able to continue to be part of such an amazing music program with the support and guidance of the Morningside Music Bridge Foundation.

The balance of creative and administrative work along with the music, keeps her engaged and inspired. She is a strong leader who inspires confidence and trust in others and motivates project staff to perform at high levels to consistently meet program expectations.

Maimie calls Penticton, BC home. She is also a very active community leader who has served on a number of Boards and is currently on the Board for the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen. She says it is important to give back to the community.
