Maimie De Silva

Special Projects Manager

Maimie De Silva has more than 35 years of international project and event management experience. She joined the acclaimed international summer music program Morningside Music Bridge as Program Manager in 2001 and remained in the role until retiring after the 2026 summer program.

She is pleased to continue supporting this exceptional music program as its part-time Special Projects Manager. The blend of creative and administrative work, together with the music, keeps her engaged and inspired. A strong leader, Maimie builds confidence and trust, motivating project members to perform at a high level and consistently meet expectations.

Maimie lives in Penticton, BC. An active community leader, she has served on several boards and currently serves on the Board of the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen. She is deeply committed to giving back to her community.
