Golda performed a soloist with orchestras (Shanghai Philharmonic, the National Symphony, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, St. Kristoforas chamber orchestra in Lithuania, Kaunas State Symphony Orchestra, with Moscow Chamber Orchestra at the Tchaikovsky Grand Hall in Moscow, Ann Arbor Symphony in Michigan, Cincinnati Symphony), Raanana Sinfonietta in Israel. As a recitalist and chamber musician she performed in Europe, Russia, Israel, Canada, China, and USA, including radio and television broadcasts in Lithuania, Israel, WQXR in New York City, Dame Myra Hess series in Chicago, “Sundays Live” in Los Angeles, Radio France, Shanghai radio broadcasts, and numerous performances in major halls in New York.
Golda Vainberg-Tatz collaborated on many occasions with the Nous Quartet (Italy), the Vilnius String Quartet, violinist Raimundas Katilius in recitals in Lithuania, Estonia, Latvija, Israel, Canada, Italy, USA. She was a guest artist in Sala Verdi, Milano at Fondazione La Società dei Concerti, Mozarteum Festival in Salzburg, Vilnius Festival in Lithuania, St.Petersburg Palaces Festival in Russia, International Academy in Italy, in Shanghai Conservatory International Festival, the Shanghai Himalayas International Piano Festival, China, where performed with Andre Michel Schub and Shanghai Philharmonic in November 2014 at the Daguan Theatre, the Mozart double piano concerto.
Her prizes and awards include the first prize in the Lithuanian State Competition for Young Pianists, full scholarships with distinction from America Israel Cultural Foundation, Maurice Claremont prestigious awards in Israel, top prizes at Young Keyboard Artists, the World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, the Frinna Awerbuch International Competition in New York, the Prix- du Disque from French Piano Institute in Paris, the Palm Beach Invitational International competition.
Her recordings include Mozart Piano Concerti K.453, K.466 with Constantine Orbelian conducting, Moscow chamber Orchestra, Delos label, available in digital availability on all music platforms (chosen in Idagio officials Editors Pick Playlist , August 2022), Robert Schumann piano music ( 3 D , France) which received the highest critical acclaim by Fanfare and American Record Guide magazines, and Miezeslaw Vainberg piano quintet with Vilnius String Quartet (Delos).
Golda Vainberg-Tatz worked as an associate faculty member at the Juilliard School, an associate faculty at Manhattan School’s college division, and is on the faculty at the Pre College Division at Manhattan School of Music. She has been giving master classes in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University, Tel Hai International Masterclasses, Puerto Piano Masterclasses in Puerto Rico Morningside Music Bridge summer program (Boston, NEC), Ciurlionis School of Music in Vilnius, Lithuania, Shanghai Conservatory in China, Ciurlionis School of Arts, judging auditions and competitions (Olga Kern International Piano Competition), Malta International Piano Competition, Chopin National Canadian Competition , Classical artists LLS, among a few) scholarship and concerto competitions at the Juilliard School Pre College.
Numerous of her students are winners of national and international competitions. Golda received her musical education in native Lithuania at the Ciurlionis School of Arts, Israel’s Rubin Academy at Tel Aviv, University, Manhattan School of Music and The Juilliard School. Her teachers and mentors include Emanuel Krasovsky, Bella Davidovich, Nina Svetlanova, Jeffrey Swann, and Rosalyn Tureck. She appointed by Mme. Rosalyn Tureck to serve as director of the Tureck International Bach Competition in New York.
